Pass-Along Books: From My Heart To Yours.

Welcome! If you’ve landed on this page, chances are you have received and/or been blessed by one of our “Pass-Along” books. I’m truly so overjoyed that you are here!

Because you are probably new to our blog, allow me to introduce myself… My name is Shannon and I’m the face and heart behind raisingablessing.com. I initially started blogging in 2019 to share my love of crafting, homeschooling, and travel, but God had other (bigger and better) plans. After an incredibly difficult time in my life, He started pressing on my heart to share my story. In sharing my story, God began to move in ways that I cannot even begin to describe. As I journeyed through healing and finding joy again, my blog became my ministry, and I grew more and more in love with my Heavenly Father each day.

As evidenced throughout my blog, I love reading a really great book that challenges my thinking, encourages my heart, and helps me deepen my relationship with Jesus. There have been many (many) times that God has met me in between the pages and chapters of a good book and ministered directly to my heart. So, when I find a book that has touched me (or someone I love), I really enjoy passing it along…

What I want you to know…

I pray over each book before I drop it off. I absolutely believe in the incredible power of prayer. The day you picked up your “Pass-Along” book, I want you to know that someone was praying for you. I only ask that before you pass it along again, say a quick prayer for the people that will read it after you. It’s a beautiful blessing to give and as the prayer leaves your lips and reaches God’s heart, powerful things begin to happen for you and the person that receives it.

You may find these books anywhere. As I travel, I drop books off everywhere along the way. Please feel free to do the same. Pass it on to a friend. Drop it off in a free library. Leave it at a coffee shop. Whatever you feel led to do, go for it! I believe that God will make sure that it reaches the people and places that need it most.

Feel free to add to it. Drop a note in it, write an encouraging word, add a bible verse, or highlight a moving or touching section. Feel free to add a personal touch to the book and bless someone before you pass it along.
