Our Favorite “From-Scratch” Pancake Recipe!

These pancakes are easy and amazing! In fact, they are one of our family favorites for breakfast! I have always been a from-the-box pancake maker (no shame in that!) but once we started using this recipe, we can’t seem to get the same satisfaction from any other pancakes! This recipe is a real pancake game-changer!! We hope you agree!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (mixed in batter)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and whisk until you remove all clumps. Also an option: use a standing mixer – we prefer this option because you always end up with a nice, smooth batter for making pancakes!

Using a greased frying pan over medium-high heat, pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter into your frying pan. When the bottom of the pancake turns golden brown and solidifies enough to flip over, gently flip the pancake over and cook the other side. Continue the process until both sides are golden brown.

Serve warm with toppings like maple syrup, blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream and bacon!

Enjoy!
