“Learning & Exploring Through Art” Projects: Pre-K

We love learning and exploring through art and wanted to share some of our favorite Pre-K art projects! These are great tools to build and develop growing minds and imagination! Enjoy!

I really got a good laugh out of this assignment because after a few conversations encouraging little man to come up with a story that doesn’t include poop, we settled on this one. ðŸ™„ #boymom…am I right? I literally laughed out loud when he colored the toot green!
This has become a bit of a tradition in our house. Family coloring night! My husband came up with the idea of making it an abstract art night and we just can’t get enough of these! He draws the swirls and we color them! Then, we use our imagination and try to come up with what they look like! We’ve had lots of good laughs with this art project!
This is a new one for us, but we absolutely love it! Directed drawing is not only fun, it teaches my kiddo to watch, listen, and pay attention to instruction. I don’t tell him what we are drawing up front, so he has a blast trying to figure it out as we go! This has quickly become one of our “art day” favorites!
What a simple and fun way to get outside, have an adventure, and squeeze in an art lesson!
This was a project that the entire family enjoyed! I definitely think we will make this a regular event! Just don’t forget to snap your pics before everything starts to wilt or change colors. For line art attributions, please see our blog post by clicking here.
